Gardener Fuoco says to Dolly

Tomorrow at 1pm wait here

明天一時

木瓜樹下

等待主人

Dolly Dolly

竟然守時

Dolly is punctual

Dolly Dolly

Dolly knows all kinds of dialects 

Including dialects of Fuoco, of children, of Shek O

洞悉方言

火伯方言

孩童方言

石澳方言

好景不常

Good times do not last forever

Dolly 被拉去坐牢

Dolly was sent to prison

哈！汪汪汪汪

媽媽説 那一天

My mother says what happened was…

電燈師傅

The electrician 

誤闖後園

Came in from the side door

忠心Dolly

Dolly, being loyal

保護主人 咬了

Dolly decided to protect her master

被拉了去坐牢

She therefore was taken to prison

She gave birth to several puppies in the prison

A chapel was built where Dolly was buried

attending Matteo Ricci musical on 28/04/2024 with a letter from Don Italo, which arrived a day before we went to see the beautiful show. 

 To my surprise, the calligraphy of Don Italo   was so similar to that of Father Johnny . It was like Father Johnny was with us to witness once again the light he left behind through his friends on stage.

note: the above page on Matteo Ricci with video I made in 2019 and the text somehow disappeared from my site www.bernadetteleepisapia.it
