The unfolding of a new chapter
中秋節翌日—情懷十四歲
一輪明月,幾點疏星,翠霞谷...(劇本台詞)
還記得十四歲那年,跟吳回叔叔學習演話劇時...
那天在舞臺上,我在扮演太婆:太婆的髮式,太婆的衣飾,太婆的聲音、的表情、的抑揚頓挫...
當時,本來我不是當這個主角的,但看了劇本後,在圍讀劇本時,我要求吳回叔叔也聽我試讀這「一輪明月,或一勾明月,幾點疏星」的開場白。
我在幻想自己當上了太婆,在超卓式的演譯。
因為,在那個時代還能感動我們這班年紀輕輕的觀眾,還是有目共睹的太婆精湛演技。
所以,我在想,如欲作好演員,一定要以太婆的演技作標準式的起點。就是如此,我投入了角色裏的情緖;在那真正演出的一剎那,我簡直進入了另類角色狀態:完完全全變成了翠霞谷裏需要的主角。
但作太婆,能發揮演技,需要適當的劇本。
這劇本因開場以獨白為主,以詩句以文學藝術為氣氛,使我能盡情投入以太婆式的聲音感情去表達應表達的情懷,以致吳回叔叔説:她(即我)很像是沒有舞臺不能生活似的。
後來劇演得好,受同學及老師們以至法國校長欣賞,便被提議將劇本翻譯成英文,以英語於翌年再演。
吳回叔叔給我們介紹來自美國的
年輕活潑V姐姐。她翻譯那劇本時加上美國式簡約文化; 即將那太過詩意的中國式比較古式的自白完完全全的刪去。
本來將劇本改至英文本不是問題,反正原劇是俄文寫的。
但刪了那自白的一段,便是刪去了我可以在幾分鐘內完完全全投入變太婆的情懷式演譯方式。沒有這warm up 的一段,其餘劇本又沒有加插可領會主角的文藝氣息,故使我演得不成太婆;不成我所愛演的角色。
也罷。反正我也不可能天天在扮演太婆;因為太婆是男仕。在不斷𢦓長的我,也不可能年年去扮男主角。
故此,也許就在那段感覺已遠離再想扮演太婆演技的日子,我決定要學習作導演,而不是作演員。
所以我對吳回叔叔教導我們時的一切非常留心。
就在那段日子,太婆也正當上導演,故我們「四神秘女偵探」便由我帶領出發,去探索太婆作導演的點點滴滴。
昨晚,當再見到一勾明月當空時,便立刻以 I Phone 拍了幾幀照片。
後來,只見在門前那戲劇式舞臺建築架構之中,那翠霞谷的感覺又從時空轉換的方式重回,便立即將之拍了一小片段。想不到在拍片段之一剎那,只看到街燈下所照留的影子;那構圖的感覺,又使我返回意國Caravaggio 畫的情懷。
看到Antonio盤出來的賞月「道具」,那盤新式的的Caravaggio生菓藍...
一時靈感一觸:那是明朝,那是戲劇。
Caravaggio 是明朝式的觀看。
Caravaggio 是中國式的意國情懷。那些如鬬獸場的古式窗戶,在我家圍牆上䇄立著。在一個鬭獸式的觀看方式與另一個鬭獸式觀賞窗框,看到那「一勾明月。」
忽然,Antonio 問:香港也同時看見此地明月?
現在香港時間是...?
我說:晚上兩點。
當然,在香港也同見這明月。
原來,眀月是眀朝的眀,
月是大眾超時空的月。
而情懷是仼由你飛越的;一時是翠霞谷的吳回式「一勾明月」,一時是我重演著仿太婆台詞一剎那的「一勾明月」。
一時竟是:啊!看到眼前的Antonio 啊...!
那Caravaggio 式的明月。
Caravaggio 是從Napoli 來的,是Antonio 的超時空同鄉。
看到街燈從高空照著Antonio 的頭髮,只見頭髮邊沿照著「俠聖」式的光圈。
啊!簡直是Caravaggio 的光影構圖。
拍了那幾分鐘片段後,才恍然大悟:
原來Caravaggio 寫那幾籃靜物水菓構圖是「賞月(水菓)圖」。
他是不折不扣的明式賞月,意式觀看。
在暗與光之間,他透露了深刻式的含蓄表達。
那是震撼式的含蓄。
那是戲劇式的情懷。
故從意國我給您們寄上賞月這一段小片段;再記Caravaggio,
感謝眀式啓發。
在眀與暗之間,再看「一勾明月」。
再謝吳回叔叔。
再謝太婆。
再謝這一切值得懷念的一刻。
願中秋佳節情懷,與您同在,
如與我同在一般。
註:(太婆乃是我十四歲時淘氣式的給謝四哥改的別號及我們當時幾個神秘小女偵探的自家暗語)

attending Matteo Ricci musical on 28/04/2024 with a letter from Don Italo, which arrived a day before we went to see the beautiful show.
To my surprise, the calligraphy of Don Italo was so similar to that of Father Johnny . It was like Father Johnny was with us to witness once again the light he left behind through his friends on stage.
